Real Reviews and 10 Things You Must Realize.

In my life I love to eat the good and the ugly, there is no need for the bad! So from time to time I will post restaurant reviews. I will probably also put them on another page like yelp or something, but I think I will put them all here. 10 Things you must realize:

1. I am not a literary genius, poor grammar and misspelled words have been apart of my life for a very long time. I am not advocating poor grammar, but I am making you aware of the possible grammatical errors you will find in my posts.

2. I don't like chain restaurants, I like consistency and innovation. I really dislike the bureaucracy that comes with chain restaurants, and their desire to take over the world. I will eat at them....but chances are I will be disappointed on my second visit.

3. I visit each restaurant at least twice before a review, just giving them an opportunity to redeem themselves. I'm not gonna lash out just for the sake of lashing out, ok maybe I will....but it’s gotta suck.

4. I eat the best and the worst. These are the restaurants where you can get the best of the lowest. I know what to expect so when I get something better....I'm pleasantly shocked. Like my recent visit to Krystal’s...where I was SUPER surprised! (Tell you about that later)

5. Reading my blog is an option, you don't like what I say don't read it! You think I'm wrong, don't read it, if you love Applebee's and are scared to try anything new or different this may not be the blog for you.

6. I love to eat, however I eat to live. I don't understand why, in a country so vast with so many resources that there are hungry people. I keep cookies and peanut butter crakers in the car just to give to those people that are begging for food. I've been known to give away my lunch, when I haven't eaten, to a homeless man who told me he was hungry. I knew where my next meal was coming from at that point.

7. I have been in a situation where I didn't know where my next meal was coming from. My pride would not allow me to tell anyone I knew, however I was fed by a family of Mexicans while they split an 8pc KCF dinner between the 10 of them, I made 11. I will NEVER forget that, the feeling as I sat there and ate with them, and the tears that rolled down my face as I accepted the meal. I still tear up when I think of the love they showed me.

8. Food is my passion. One of the most intimate things you can do is share your passion with others. I LOVE to cook for others and make them feel comfortable. That being said there has been only one person in my life that almost got smashed with a Revereware Tri-bottom Pot. I won't mention any names, but I put up with baby mama drama, Mantrums, Anti-social behavior and Whining, while traveling the nation with a fella that brought KFC into my home while I was in the kitchen. I've since for given the KFC....but I shall never forget such a slap in the face. "I thought it was Pot Roast".....WTF.

9. I love to kid, joke, and laugh...so if you can't giggle then maybe this isn't the blog for you.

10. If you think I should visit a different spot or post a new recipe than email me...I'm open!
